Our Team

Boschert USA has curated a dedicated team of applications engineers, trainers, technicians and service professionals to counsel and support customers throughout the lifetime of their machines. The Boschert USA team will be with you every step of the way – developing strategies for your application; detailing, developing and delivering your purchase; providing orientation and training; and delivering long-term service and care.

Greg Hoesly

President

Greg came to the machine tool business more than 35 years ago as the local Boschert dealer. He acquired Boschert from the original US importer in 2002 and the company has since grown steadily in sales and product offerings – currently representing five exceptional European machinery brands in North America. In addition to managing the business, Greg directly leads sales and support for the Boschert and Stierli product lines. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Business with degrees in marketing and management.

Tim Hoesly

Vice President

Representing the PBT and Picot brands at Boschert USA, Tim is an expert in bending technology. He works with engineers, managers and business leaders to develop production strategies and equipment applications for manufacturing companies across North America. For the past four years at Boschert USA, he has worked to increase the scope and efficiency of his customers’ manufacturing operations. Tim has a BA in Economics from the University of Wisconsin and started his career in supply chain management for a major automotive parts marketer.

Joe Zwier

Sales Manager

Joe joined Boschert USA in late 2023 and serves as the first point of contact for customers looking for spare parts or answers to their technical questions. He manages Boschert's spare parts inventory supply and coordinates both international and domestic shipments. Joe is a graduate of Upper Iowa University and has built experience from working in a variety of industries focusing on sales, project coordination and business management.

John Baemel

National Service Manager

With 40+ years of application and programming experience, John is Boschert USA’s go-to resource for supporting our full scope of chip and fab CNC machine tools. He joined the organization in 2002 as our first full-time employee. He has served in a variety of CNC machining applications engineering roles – from Emco-Maier’s machining and turning machine tools, to Amada’s CNC laser and turret presses for Versa Ferguson conveyor, to machine tool sales for P&R. John has an associate degree in mechanical engineering and tool design.

Jeff Snyder

Sales Manager

With nearly 25 years of metal fabricating machinery experience, Jeff brings focus and expertise to his support of the Boschert Gizelis line of press brakes and shears. Following his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University, Jeff went to Ackerman Johnson/Simpson Strong Tie, where he compiled test data and collaborated with chemists and engineers to improve testing protocols through design changes and fixturing on mechanical and chemical concrete anchors used in product safety specifications worldwide. He spent a good part of his career in outside sales for Award Machinery, a Chicago-based metal fabricating machine representative. While there, Jeff designed and fabricated custom tooling and machinery for a variety of clients and gained experience in PLC programming, machinery integration and process improvement.

Julie Hoesly

Financial Manager

Julie’s career path has given her the know-how and experience to manage Boschert USA’s various financial functions and keeping vendors happy by paying bills accurately and on time. A graduate of Northwestern University, Julie has been involved with office technologies since the 1980s, working in sales, support and training for firms such as Exxon, Xerox, Manpower and owning her own consulting business.

Mike Tiede

Applications Engineer

As an applications and service engineer for Boschert USA for close to three years, Mike is responsible for developing successful production solutions and efficient production time estimates for Boschert’s customers. He reviews prints to develop efficient strategies to manufacture parts using the diverse machinery lines in the Boschert portfolio. He is usually on shop floors, online or on the phone with customers giving demonstrations or supporting machine installation, machine and software training and service. Mike has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado in Boulder.

Adam Burt

Service Technician

Adam has 20 years of experience managing construction and service projects, servicing networks and supervising parts and inventory programs. Before joining the Boschert USA team, he managed stock inventory, ordered parts, handled phone and email issues from customers at Laundy Concepts. Before that, he served as head service technician at Card Concepts where he was a trainer and trouble shooter for network and mechanical issues. He initially gained experience as a project coordinator for various building projects to maintain scheduling, code enforcement and budgets. Adam has an associate degree from the College of DuPage.

Manuel Lang

International Sales Manager and Co-Managing Director, Boschert Gmbh

Over the past 40 years, Manuel has worked his way to the top from his first job as an apprentice in the Boschert GmbH workshop in 1980. He has worked in virtually every part of the Boschert organization, moving into sales, then leading international sales and now as co-managing director alongside Peter Kunz. Manuel manages the international sales team while also creating a vision for the future of Boschert’s growth in people, new products and facilities.

Thomas Stierli

Managing Director, Stierli-Bieger

As managing director, Thomas is actively involved with the engineering team and supports global sales every day. He began his practical education at an early age, as a construction metal structure apprentice, working four days-a-week while attending school one day-a-week. He then attended an applied science school, studying mechanical engineering for four-plus years. He later pursued an additional education credential in finance and management. Thomas stepped into the role of CEO at Stierli-Bieger when he was 27 years old and three years later took over the business from his father.

Evangelos (Vagelis) Gizelis

President, Boschert-Gizelis

Vagelis serves as general manager of Gizelis SA, a specialty manufacturing machinery company in the sheet metal industry. He also is founder and CEO of Gizelis Robotics SA which provides automation system solutions for a variety of manufacturing sectors. Gizelis SA, which exports its products to 55 countries around the world, provides a full range of modern and innovative products developed through continuous research and innovation. Vagelis is a leader in a variety of professional organizations in Greece supporting the country’s industrial and production sectors. He has a business degree from the University of La Verne California which is complemented by an executive education program from Harvard Business School.

Eric Brüngger

Sales Director International, PBT AG

Eric has served as PBT’s international sales director since April 2019, responsible for opening new markets around the world by establishing and supporting local sales and distribution partners. Prior to joining PBT, Eric served in several positions where he planned and implemented sales promotion, marketing, purchasing and product range design for Swiss national and international partner networks. Before serving in the Swiss Army, Eric was an elite international road racing cyclist and represented the sport as an athlete, through culture immersion programs and as a branch manager for cycling equipment manufacturers. He also completed a four-year apprenticeship as an agricultural machinery mechanic.

Grégory Conraud

President, AMB Picot

Grégory has served as general manager of AMB Picot, a global leader in the manufacture of bending machinery, since he acquired it in 2008. Previously, Grégory was program manager for Audi and VW turbo charger development at Honeywell Corp, where he launched its R5, V6, V8, V10 and V12 TDI turbo-charged engines. He also served as a quality manager in the heavy fan industry at Solyvent Ventec. He has a Masters-of-Science in engineering and management from Ensta Lyon.
