Z-axis Rollers

PBT offers a range of manual and CNC Z-axis rollers that serve as guiding units to reduce twist on asymmetrical profiles or make it possible to bend helical or 3-D shapes. With the associated CNC bending software, it is simple to program and bend 3-D elements.

• Hand-crank Z-axis rollers (contact rollers)
  These manual rollers can be built into or retrofitted to all PBT profile bending machines. Using a handwheel, accuracy is adjustable to 1/10 mm. Robust construction allows for on-load adjustability and heavy-duty profile manipulation.
• CNC Z-axis rollers (contact rollers)
  These rollers are controlled automatically via the CNC control and assist in reducing twist or bending 3-D parts. These devices range in power, offering a pushing force from 20 kN to 40 kN. Servo motors and precision controllers provide a maximum lift height of 115 mm.
