With a 90° fixed angle, the Vari Iv Hydraulic Variable Angle Notcher is a powerful Boschert notcher offer superior performance, clean cuts and high accuracy. Enjoy front-to-back cutting to hold material against stop, two 30° upper blades working directly with two corresponding lower blades, four material hold-downs, and a milled bed surface for no-float or no-stick operation. Capacity is 5/32” mild steel capacity and 1 ga. stainless steel capacity, with notch widths of 5.9” x 5.9” 90° notch. Blades shift by pneumatic power. Additionally, the Vari Iv offers Hi-Carbon, Hi-Chrome blades that overlap on the cutting edge to eliminate blade chipping, a 6.5 horsepower motor, solid state circuitry and a moveable electric foot pedal.

A 30° upper blade is directly connected to two corresponding lower blades. All notches of more than 30° are accomplished automatically with a right and left notch. Pneumatic power rotates the blades after each stroke.
