GIZELIS SA's latest innovation, Easy Tool Change (ETC) has been designed to keep an eye on the most important element of the production process: The operator! With experience that goes back more than 50 years, we have long acknowledged the strain that heavy tool replacement imposes on the worker. The ETC has been designed for handling Wila tooling and it is characterized by its compact design, effortless tooling manipulation, and adaptability to any press brake.

Storage & Sorting

Ensuring the safe storage and meticulous organization of a wide variety of punches and dies is essential for maintaining their integrity and functionality. This involves implementing effective storage solutions that protect these tools from damage, while also creating a systematic sorting system. Such a system should categorize punches and dies based on size, shape, and usage, facilitating easy access and efficient retrieval.

Easy Tool Loading/Unloading

ETC’s robust construction is based on the use of sliding heads which are positioned on heavy duty linear rails, offering as a result easy tool manipulation and loading of heavy tools & dies without physical exertion.

Large Tool Storage Capacity (for dies)

The Easy Tool Change can accommodate 44x dies each 515mm in length. It offers 22x slots of 1200mm in length. In each slot, 2x dies of 515mm in length can be positioned. The total acceptable weight is 2000kg.

Large Tool Storage Capacity (for punches)

The Easy Tool Change can accommodate 24x punches each 515mm length. It offers 12x slots of 1200mm in length. In each slot, 2x punches of 515mm in length can be positioned. The total acceptable weight of 1500kg.

Easy Tool Manipulation & Rotation

The Easy Tool change has been specifically designed to facilitate easy manipulation of the tools.

Punches slide easily in and out of the storage department and the upper beam clamp without imposing any weight or carrying related burden to the operator, which could lead to injuries. Furthermore, precise sliding of the tools prevents from accidental damage taking place

The system includes a slide-head rotating mechanism which allows for the punches to be easily rotated for non-symmetrical tools, again keeping the operator’s well-being as a priority. The tool is rotated easily and re-aligned precisely to the sliding position

Easy Tool Die Sliding

For easy and damage free manipulation of the dies, the Easy Tool Change is designed with the combined use of sliding plastic and ball transfer units for big size dies. By incorporating spring loaded ball pins we can secure the easy and precise move and positioning of the die.

Easy Transportation

We have attached heavy-duty castor wheels along with height-regulating static pads for the easiest transportation and repositioning of the Easy Tool Change. For longer movements, the unit includes suspension points for a forklift or pallet truck.
