BUTLER, Wis., - Boschert Precision Machinery, Inc. has introduced the Multi-Punch series of precision CNC punching machines with fully automatic tool changers. The Multi-Punch, or MP series, fills out Boschert's line of CNC punching machines by adding automatic tool changing to its well received line of heavy duty, high precision machinery.

BOSCHERT has engineered the machines to maintain its well known high tonnage, high capacity advantages while adding the productivity enhancing ATC. The Multi-Punch series includes the MP-1250 with a 50” x 100” working range and the MP-1500 with a 60” x 120” working range. Both models feature an 8 position automatic tool changer that accepts Trumpf® style tooling as well as Boschert's Revotool multi-tool solution. Using Revotool the total number of tools allowed in the machine can reach 64 tools.

BOSCHERT has added the MP-series to its line due to customer requests for an economical alternative to similar machines that are limited in tonnage and sheet capacity. The MP-series machines can handle sheets up to ½” thick with a workpiece weight capacity of 440 lbs, while maintaining very competitive axis speeds. With maximum punching force of 36 US tons, the MP-series offers capabilities unavailable in competitive machines.

BOSCHERT has designed the MP-series machines with its well-known heavy duty C-frame design that offers the rigidity required in precision fabrication combined with the flexibility that allows flipping the workpiece to double the working range. Fully programmable stroke lengths of up to 1.37”, punch capacity to 3” diameter, full stepless rotation of all tools and a programmable parts chute add to the productivity and flexibility of the machines. The ability to accept special tools for forming, shearing, threading and other special operations enhance the MP-series' capabilities even more.
